Hi all,
We're off on our first 'proper' i.e. more than 1 night, trip tomorrow. Going to Glen Nevis and very excited! However, can't help but panic I've frgotten something essential. What do you all consider to be the most indispensible items, aside obviously from tent, air beds, sleeping bags and family of course?
Cheers me dears
Kez

essentials: layers between floor & airbed, airbed & sleeping bag = stops airbed becoming 'block of ice' - I use a couple of picnic mats on floor, then airbed, old mattress topper then bags
comfortable chair, heater, crocs & wine
------------- rescue - my favourite breed of dog :-)

We are off in August for a week, first camping holiday. Away this coming weekend for three nights at Buxton. Can't wait.

Matches or lighter for BBQ or fire pit.

Matches and lighters are what we always forget. Not a big deal but it means you can't get started with a cuppa or cooked meal as quick as we would like after unpacking.
