hi all, going away on saturday for a 6 night stay at parkcliffe at the lakes, was digging everything out of the sheds and so on yesterday so the OH can pack the car up on her half day on friday, wasnt getting quite excited when it was all in front of my eyes and going through everything, god i love camping, what a buzz and cant wait. Im so sad!!!

I know how you feel we are going away on Saturday for 2 week to Cornwall OH got all cooking stuff plates cups etc out of the garage so I could wash them up. I hate washing up normally but got very excited.
Have a great holiday. I know how you feel starting to get excited about our holiday, we go away for 10 days to York at the beginning of July. Holiday clothes in piles on the spare bed and new camping stuff is now collecting at the bottom of the stairs.
Also can't concentrate on work cause I keep logging onto the net to check the weather, the sights, attractions and to see if there are anymore reviews on the campsite! I look like I'm really busy but I'm actually typing up 'camping lists' on Word!
for everyone else going away, enjoy aswell and share in my delight about getting all ready to go, for you lot not going away, just pack up and go, split second decision and you can also share in my enjoyment.

We are off on Sunday,going to the C&C Club site Normans Bay.We have had some lovely holidays there especially when we had Blue our darling Springer Spaniel,who,is sadly no longer with us.
He will be with us in spirit though,running freely on the beach and swimming in the sea.
Anyone else who is off,have a great time.

we're off to Oxwich bay on Thursday, only for 2 nights possibly 3, all gear is piled up ready to go. spare seat removed from car to make more room.just got clothes to pack today and I am so excited.

I am off with my dog to Bodmin Moor - only half an hour from home but only our 2nd solo trip this year. Have already spoken to the owner of the campsite and he is more than happy to be on hand should I need his help putting the tent up
When I confirmed price - which was advertised as pitch/car and two persons, he said he would not charge for the dog as I was on my own - I could pretend the dog was the boyfriend
