Today I spontaniously decided to do a test run with the Montana 6 , before we leave for England in 2 1/2 weeks. I have 2 days off work Monday and Tuesday, so we can leave tomorrow after school for a local site and stay for 4 nights, and I am even seeing forward to having a bit of rain which we expect on Saturday, because I haven't been able to test if there might be any leaks - would be nice to know before the big journey!
The kids are very excited because there is a pool at the side that opens tomorrow (will be COLD still...).
My only worry is that tomorrow it will be only the 8 year old with me, and they say it will be very WINDY - but I expect there will be lots of co-campers who will lend a hand to a helpless female! I have this picture of the tent flying like a kite, and my little one clinging to a guy line high up in the air...
Oh, I can't sleep - have already nearly everything packed in the car by now!

Back from some great days on our "test trip". Weather was great - only a little bit rain one night. We found a corner where there was hardly any wind at all and had no problems pitching the tent. Here are some pictures!
Monty 6 with "short canopy" (was to lazy to have the 2. set of poles up):
Inside the tent. The light collapsible boxes are great - "Kusiner" from IKEA. And the very Outwell-looking table cloth is from Lidl!
Monty 6 with "long" canopy:
Don't the guy lines look beautiful?
Some problems with the canopy poles... We had some looong poles in the car!
