Hi, we were there last week! It rained on and off the whole time but we had great fun - the kids love it. I would rather go somewhere a bit smaller and quieter but you cant knock it for keeping the kids happy - especially if you get a bargain!
have a great time Ria. will you let me know how you get on travel wise as i dont have a car so am always on the lookout for campsites with public transport.
Scooby, I find that most of the Haven sites are on a bus route, most of the time the bus pulls into the site ,we some times get train then bus, But still pretty easy to get to, Also most of them are close to the baech, ( thats why i dont mined them)
Off peak you can get 3 nights for about £20 and 4 nights for about £30, If we go on public transport I take a trolly , put all the heavy stuff in, and the rest in a large ruksak, then give little one bits to carry,
also, we dont take any shopping, We get the bus in to the nearest town and get it there,
