buying a Montana 6 tent and undecided whether to get the extension or the awning....any advice??

I would go for the awning. I use the Montana Awning on my Bear Lake 6. You can use it in windy weather which you would not necessarily be able to do with the extension and you and your gear are safer from the elements. You can of course add the extension too (on the end of the awning) if you want to camp in a palace!

where are they for £149 please....cheapest I found was £190

Carra20 can you please let me know what the total pitch length is of these two units. I am most interested to know what the effect on pitch length is, when the awning is used and the front folded is it the same length as the extension ?

So many sites have limitations on pitch length, and of corse cost per night.
