We had a "test" camp last week and the things we discovered we needed were:

- Clothes dryer - be it washing line or rotary with 2 adults, 3 kids and a muddy dog we needed a way of drying wet gear.

- Heater/Blower - the heat extremes were amazing - went from cold nose to sweating so a cold/hot fan is on our list!

- Pillows - we didnt take any and as we are used to 2 pillows at home we didnt sleep well so have invested in pillows.

- Knives - bread knife, sharp knife, etc

I'd suggest some cheap fleecy blankets from Primark incase they need them on top of their sleeping bags.

Clothes line with pegs - £1 from Poundland, did the job well.

Tin opener - we forgot ours this year!!
