We had exactly the same problem. Our 2010 Icarus is laurel/meadow and our 2011 enclosed canopy is moss green. Was a bit worried at first but to be honest I dont really notice it now. I have noticed lots of other 2010 Icarus' on sites with 2011 canopy. As far as I am aware they are the same size and ours seems to fit well.
This was same for us, you would have thought vango would have done some encoded canopies in last years colours. I don't think it looks out of place, it isn't that bad of a match to be honest.

Im having the same problem, did you get one, if so does it look alright and have you tried attaching the open canopy to the enclosed extension to make it even bigger :)
I have the open canopy but its not very good in the wind as i found last weekend at scarborough and had to pack up at 2130 and drive 100 miles home (combination of snapped poles & scared 2 yr old).
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
