We currently use a couple of Aplkit Bulb II lights which are brilliant and were more than adequate for our previous tent, but now we have upgraded to somewhere with a 'lounge' I think we may need something with a bit more UMF! Can anybody recommend a non-mains powered light that will pump out enough to light up a 215cm(h) x 385cm(w) x 220cm(d) space adequately (e.g. allow a book to be read even whilst not sitting directly under the light)?
Despite trying lots of battery powered lights there's still something about a camping gaz gas powered lamp which makes it the one we use more than others.
Great light as it's not harsh like LEDs and you benefit from the heat it generates.
I bought one of these http://www.therange.co.uk/invt/398169/ while out camping in Shrewsbury last week and was surprised at the amount of light it chucked out... Double rechargeable too !!
