Actually I'm jealous - of the 6 nights in the tent this year I have slept on only three (literally awake all night on the other 3). I'm so paranoid about the kids waking up - which they do - that I can't switch off at all, not helped by OH's hayfever-induced snoring for the last 2 nights! We did have one trip where we all slept, so hopefully we'll have more like that next year. To be honest if it doesn't improve I can't see us carrying on with the tent. The bed is lovely and warm and comfortable - it's just my brain won't stop!
I have hay fever really bad, i posted on here and asked other campers what they used and as usual got lots of help, so if you search hay fever ime sure you will find something to help you and your hubby out. I waited till later in the season and this helped me too.
Thanks. He's never had it before so I think it was specific to the conifer trees on the site, so hopefully it won't happen again. I will go armed with drugs next time though, just in case!
I haven`t slept all summer at home but I have slept like a log when we`ve been away in the camper. Fed up though as we have only managed 4 trips this year due to the weather.
Lets hope for an Indian summer then I can squeeze a few more trips in.
