after a few years of doing my own things with the house & kids, my dad asked me if i wanted to go camping out of the blue really (he's always ALWAYS been into it, but not so much myself :/
however, after last week ive completely changed my mind it was great and my daughter really enjoyed it too :) shes sometimes a handful and hard to please (shes almost 2) but she loved it :)
the weather was great for the 2 days sunny and warm, it only rained in the day time on the day we were due to come home. eventhought the first night we were there we had quite a downpour in the night, but it didnt bother me because the next morning it was absoloutely bone dry in my tent not even a drop leaked in.it was great :)
the tent i was in with my daughter was an aztec tunnel tent and my dad used his vortex 300:) but he said that if the weather got really bad we would swap so me and amber would be in there, luckily it didnt:)
me and amber really enjoyed ourselves and im already planning our next 2 trips!
trying to get pics on as we speak...dont know how but getting there lol

When your daughter grows bigger you will have a good excuse for buying a bigger tent...

I daren't show my son your pics. He's gutted we can't do pizza when we camp. I'm glad you had a great time and look forward to hearing about the next one, and the next one, and the next one....
I forgot, the method has changed recently. You have to use the picture icon over the top of the reply box, delete what's already in the pop up box, then copy and past the direct code into that pop up box

You could make Jamie Oliver's cheats pizza, if you have a cooker with a grill. You cook the base on the hob in a frying pan, add the topping and shove it under the grill. Works really well at home, super quick but haven't tried it when camping yet. This recipe can be found in Jamie's 30 minute meals book.
Thanks for the thought. We have a grill but it is completely ineffectual. We've never managed a decent slice of toast on it yet so pizza might be pushing it. I suppose we coudl take one of those cook's gas torch things that people use to do creme brulee :D
no speedcamp it was nowhere near as bad, we was all geared up with our coats (but we dont care about the weather anyway) but we didnt need them half the time we was sweating lol
im finishin uploading on photobucket and will paste the link as soon as x
