Mine likes it even more now that I have a canvas tent that is a lot quieter in the wind.

My tip would be to always make sure you can create a shaded area for your dog, and never leave her in the tent unattended and with it zipped up (we all know how hot it can get in tents!).
As has already been mentioned, a good dog stake is imperative (we have the Delta one and it is a million times better than the corkscrew type).
If you crate train your pup, it's a good idea to take the crate with you (pup will think it's her bed, anyhow), that way you can pop her in and know she is safe overnight, or for short periods while you nip to the showers etc.
P.S. Although the pics show her snoozing during the day, at night time she has a bed that is raised off the floor, to keep her warm. If taking the crate, we take something to boost it up a bit, otherwise we take her plastic bed (which has little feet, so the base is a bit raised):
One more tip: please never be tempted to just let your dog out for an unsupervised last pee! Our dog isn't a barker but, last year, she woke us up in the middle of the night with barking. We couldn't see anyone around, so shushed her up, then found the next morning that another dog had peed up our tent, near her bed! That kind of camper with dog we can all do without!
