Hello all, hope you had a good Christmas and New Year

Anyway, bought the 'Camping' magazine for the first time and it reviewed the Khyam Tailgate. Basically one end of the tent covers the open tailgate of your car. I'm not buying one, it's not for me, was just wondering of anyone has seen the tent or owned similar etc. What are your thoughts

Anyway, must dash and plan my first outting

As they're so new it's a bit soon I guess for anyone to have one yet.

Must admit I'm looking at alternatives to the folding camper, but I'm wondering what one of those would give me over a free-standing tent! I guess it would partly depend just how quickly I could erect one on my own (I fancy doing a bit more touring).

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know which issuetthe Kyham tailgate was reviewed in? It's not on this site and I've looked through the small online preview of camping magazine for around this time but it doesn't list it. I didn't fancy spending a fortune buying all the back issues to try and find it.

I'm considering buying this as a tailgate shelter for use when I'm competing with my dogs.
