coffee and bacon sarnies Val, doesn't the coffee make the bread soggy???
OMG it's turned all warm just going to have brekkie, then it's time to get the trailer out pack up and set off I've charged up about thirty batteries for my camera, so I should be able to get a few shots before it says the battery is flat.
I was working till 1.30 this morning, hence the late start. No rush though it's light till about five now.
Hope my wife can sort this computer out while I'm away. It's gone onto about 300% big up, but it's not actually bigged up on the tool bar. (if that makes sence) I have to kep re starting the sky front page, as I have no new tab setting. GRRRRR B computers. (At least I can see the letters better)
Just about to learn a lovely new song. Willie Nelson singing 'funny how time slips away' not my usual type of song, but it is beautifull. (watery eyes an everything) There's a you tube version where he is playing live, with loads of top C W singers watching him. That's the best version I've found so far. A bit like one of the an evening with programes. Waffle waffle waffle.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
Eventually got there about 4.30 to find all the snow had gone. Managed to unload the stuff and get pitched just before dark. Just chucked all the stuff inside, and decided to unpack and set up the next day. The next day arrived to very strong winds, so decided not to unpack incase it got any worse. It carried on blowing untill 4 the next morning, and this morning my wife phoned to say that it forecast the strong winds returning latter. So I packed up and came home. It was supposed to be a four day trip. I got really fed up and struggled to manage one tin of beer, not usually a problem for me. Can't complain though, as I've not had many bad trips over the years. At least I had the place to myself The camera also let me down again. I hate digi cameras.
Just got too look forwards to the next trip now

raf, at least you tried. A lot of people would not entertain the idea of camping in winter.
When I told my mum where I had been last weekend, she thought I was mental, and got really worried.
