Just spotted a Hypercamp Eldorado on eBay starting at £80. Only sharing as it is in Southampton and I am in North Yorkshire

Will go through the roof on price now though, because it's on here!

They were only about £140 last year anyway weren't they?

214.66 GBP new from Obelink UK.

I believe it has gone up quite significantly since I bought my Escala 4 back in Oct 2011.

You can add £100 to the price this year!  I guess it is a case of demand and supply.

Typical when I want to invest in one.  The Escala 4 looks great!

I like them and could be tempted at a great price but still prefer the Touareg, which isn't in stock yet at Bell Tent. Need the SIG to keep the dogs in at night. Debating whether to pure order but sort of hoping one will turn up on fleabay, on here or somewhere fairly local.

Hi,

Just chiming in because I believe it's my tent that's been spotted on eBay (unless there's been a sudden rush by the people of Southampton to sell their camping gear :) )

A bit of history, we spotted an Eldorado whilst we were at the Elvaston Steam rally in 2011 and ordered one immediately!

It had one test pitch in a mate's garden before we took it away for the C&CC NFOL meet in Newark where it was pitched for one very wet weekend (so we can say it's been successfully wet weather tested :))

Since then it's been stored (dry) in a cupboard in the spare bedroom.  However, we're moving over the next month and the place we are moving to doesn't have storage space for our 'big' camping kit.  So, reluctantly, it all has to go, leaving us with just our 'little' camping kit.

Unfortunately we're not able to package the tent up for collection by courier for 2 reasons:

1. We don't have the packaging material.

2. It's unlikely we could coordinate a time with a courier that was specific enough to fit in between our work and also our moving stuff between 2 abodes for the next few weeks.

If anyone has any other questions about the tent then feel free to ask.

Regards,

Caron

I am keeping my fingers crossed and an eager eye on the tent.  I was going to ask you why you were selling so soon.   I live near Newbury so would be handy for collection.  Still nine days to go though.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that got mine (a blue one) a couple of years ago for about 180 euro. Noticed that brands such as Outwell and De Waard also increased their prices. This is probably debate to the high nummber of demands for Cotton?
