Yes, my Cabanon Isabelle - such a cute little tent - quite rare now too but too claustrophobic with no windows - still hanker after one purely for the quirkiness!

Cabanon Isabelle

And my Cabanon Scenario - again purely for the'wow' factor - so unusual and hardly ever seen but just far too big - BUT - it would have made a brilliant communal tent for meets

Cabanon Scenario

Anne, they must have been hard if sensible decisions. Just don't buy them again!

Thhe Isabelle? Really don't think I'd buy another but the Scenario ......... well, if you zipped off all the sides it made a fantastic extra strong canvas & sreel framed gazebo - really don't know what posessed me to sell it - I suppose the space it all took up when stored - the poles alone weighed a ton and were in the biggest pole bag I'd ever seen!! Good job they are like hens teeth or I mught be tempted - the sad thing was I sold it on Ebay and within months it was up for sale again - I was sorely tempted  - but was restrained ....and regretted it

I am finally going to part with some of the canvas selection this year, we tend not to use anything other than the Andorra with the toilet annexe so it'll be time for the Athena, the Antigua and possibly the Elzas to go....I hope I don't regret that!

We tend to keep things but have now absolutely run out of space so it's time for a big clear out!

What a dilemma...post-partum dissonance or Seller's Regret!

I'm seriously eyeing up the Sliding Canopy - again.

Mmmmm, Elzas.... what colour???????

It's an old one, without the push out kitchen, in cream with green skirts and a sun canopy. I nearly sold it a year ago and backed out but I really have to accept that I'm not going to use it...

I've sold three full sets of camping gear over the years because I tried a VW camper, a tin tent and a static and never thought I would go back to camping. Here I am again though putting together my 4th set of camping gear with the intention of hanging on to it. That said, I've no real regrets other than selling my Conway Classis trailet tent which was a fantastic bit of kit and hold many happy memories for me.

I had some shares in an small oil company called Gulf Keystone Petroleum which I  sold for a few grand a few years ago. The shares were worth around 15p each back then. Now they are worth over £3 each.

You may think this is pretty irrelevant to camping. BUT! Seeing as I spend nearly all of my money on camping, just THINK of all the camping goodies I could have bought! I would have more tents than Go Outdoors and Yeomans put together!!!
