So we have got an Intex queen size with built in electric pump and 2 large waterproof picnic blankets to use as a carpet in the bedroom and as a picnic blanket!
Its daft how exciting it is! So all we need now are 2 good Sun/Mondays to get away!
Have now ordered some new stuff too, following advive on Skips post(thanks guys),now have mushroom type pegs for groundsheet, new pegs(ridge type things),extra guys and will be ordering deltas and delta dog tether next week.Oh and picnic table and kids sleeping bags(for grandchildren).

Resistance is futile, and the buying will never stop!
I was delighted to find a small lightweight cast aluminium non-stick griddle with a folding handle so that I could fry my steak etc. and give it a criss-cross pattern.
Also bought a beach shelter from Argos eBay outlet for just under 5.00 GBP including postage for the dog.
Still need to get a SIM, plus a tow bar and cycle carrier for the car.

yep,I know, have just worked out that our canvas tents are costing a fortune, eyelet kits for flaps, springs and tool for emergency pole fixing, pegs,as well as all the above!! Have managed to resist a posadas bed..What ever happened to the old style..tent,cooker,pan,cup,roll mat and sleeping bag! But I can't think of spending money on anything else,so worthwhile and good for the soul

Ohh I like it. We had trouble with out cooker last weekend (too cold for the gas),took a while to get going,so this seems to be the solution...more spending, might have to do a bit more saving.(although I have put 2 in the watched list, ebay).Thank you DK (again)

Where did you find your griddle in the end DK?
Cheers
I bought the Coleman Dual Fuel 2-burner stove so that I can camp all year round, as the Cadac Safari Chef and the suitcase stoves are no good at sub-zero temperatures.
Got a Coleman Dual Fuel Sportster to supplement the Cadac at first, then I treated myself to a 424 2-burner stove.
The 424 is now my stove of choice, with the Sportser as the back up and spare.

I may get the wok with folding handle once I have room for it too.
