Got a couple of days off so my wife and I decided to go for a drive from here in North Wales up to Winfields just for a wander round, on arrival they had their tent display up and ready with a comprehensive range available from budget to high end Airbeams.
We haven't even used our Calisto yet but my wife has already decided she wants, nay needs an Airbeam, as we were both truly impressed as we had not seen one in the flesh so to speak.
Needless to say we came away with a couple of things from their store as well after a few hours browsing just counting down the days now until April 16th when we get away.
Well I live, just 3 miles from Winfields at Haslingden, so had to have a look at thier tent display, but as usual not a single "PolyCotton" or "Cotton" tent to be seen, all were "Polyester" fine for backpacking tents, but imho totaly useless for a family tent.
For a proper family tent display, in this area, the best place to go is Casey's at Chester.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
