Hi Guys, been looking for a tent the last couple of weeks, went and had a look at Caseys outdoor display at Chester and we liked the look of the new outwell monty 6p, but its 600 english pounds !! when I got home found an e-mail from outdoor world offering 10% off everything for a limited period, I wanted to know if one of the bedrooms zipped off the monty, tried to get through to Outdoor World, no luck so I tried Camping world where the very kind gent went off and looked at the tent for me, I then asked him if he`d price match outdoor world , which they did, so down to 540 quids, we bought it there and then, only to get home to find in the post a voucher for go outdoors discount card holders on the 5th April for 20% off all tents, where will it all stop?, so bargain hunters keep an eye out for go outdoors mailshots you may save a lot of money, regards Dave p.s going to look at yeomans tent show ambleside this Friday --when when this madness end ??
I think the Montana lake could work out the best deal if Go Outdoors keep current price + 20% off. Is the date for 20% off the tents on the 7th April? 5th April 15% off everything else...?
Do shop around though as some tents can be cheaper from other retailers. For ecample the Vango Maritsa700 can be found cheaper even after the 20% discount. If you then get Go Outdoors to price match less 10% it works out cheaper than the 20% off deal.
Shepster,look on JR Leisure's web site,we got a Vango Samara 400 at a great price off them,the also had a lot more tents on sale at bargain prices including the Samara 600,and other larger family tents.Suffice to say we always have an eye out for a bargain,and we paid £199.99 for ours,that'a around £140 below RRP. We got ours from their store at Radcliffe Greater Manchester.Well worth having a gander at their web site.
