We took a gamble.
North Wales in the first week of the season was a risk - but we decided to give it a go and YES, it worked a treat. We timed it perfectly to get some decent weather ....
We stayed at Aberafon, right on the coast and had a full field with EHU to ourselves for 3 nights .... a large group of us with lots of kids .... great fun.
Amazingly we were sat in shirt sleeves around a camp fire on the beach on 1st April in the sunshine and yet two days later it was snowing !!! phew.
The only slight downside was the torrential rain we had when packing away, but we weren't complaining.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
