We are booked in for 2 nights on the northumberland coast tomorrow.
Have checked numerous weather reports and for early hours of tues we may be looking at gusts of up to 40mph and rain showers.

Probs is my little boy who is 4 hates sleeping bags so its důvet and some blankets, he is also a really restless sleeper and i worry about him being to cold during night.
We have ehu and a fan heater.
What does everyone think? Go or not?

40mph gusts of winds would put me off, thats enough to damage even the best quality tent. You will see some great photos on here of people with tents in the snow but this sort of camping isnt for everyone, you need the right sort of gear and a very determined attitude.  I am all for getting out there but are you really going to enjoy it?  Its a tough decision especially when you have booked and you really want to go.

We cancelled our booking for easter as our youngest has got a cold and we had booked a very exposed site in the middle of nowhere.  I was disappointed but I am glad now we stayed at home.  We may go next weekend but are waiting until Tuesday to make a decision.

Good luck whatever you decide - and theres nothing wrong with waiting a few weeks.

We went up to Scotland in last weeks blizzard, and just had 4 really lovely days weatherwise.  Is the camp site far from you?  Will it put you off (for the year) if you have a bad weekend?
