We unhitch ours as soon as we arrive and put a hitch lock on - if there's somewhere suitable we chain it up with a sturdy bike lock. Ours has a lockable ABS lid, but there's not really anything worth knocking left in it - just empty bags mostly! Like someone else has said, we leave our tents when we go out....

I had a look at the trailer and decided against it, its a heavy brute as the lid is made out of 2X4's with a sheet of aluminium tacked over the top. I just thought the cost of fuel is bad enough without towing that thing! Also, it just didn't seem big enough. Thanks for the advice guys - I will keep an eye out for another one but this one is a no go.
