Have several trips planned with DS this year for him to enjoy some airshows. We are camping at a couple. Thought it was stupid to take an 8 or 12 man tent for a couple of nights for two of us.
Explained to SWMBO.... and she agreed!!! Was allowed to look at tents for overnighters or weekends with no cooking.
After some looking around and breing a big Outwell fan I decided that the tent we "need" is one they no longer make! - Typical I know.
Have spent the weekend bidding/looking all over and the long and short of it is we are now the proud owners of a Minnesota 4, with footprint, carpet and suncanopy. All this with her permission!!!
Off to Lincoln on Friday to pickup new tent to join the family.
The only sad bit of news is that our much loved Monty 12 is for sale =(
But is being replaced with a new Florida 8
So a good weekend in my house!
