Have got a haven 600 tent. Bought it last year from a work colleague. Have decided i don't want it. It's missing the carrying bag and the bedroom divider apart from that it in good condition. whats the best way to sell it gumtree or ebay.
oh says he'll put it on ebay at a buy it now price. was going to use it last year but bought a mojave and used that instead. OH wont let me have 2 tents :( hes a spoil sport. hes right from next year it wiil be only us 2 camping as the kids are nearly all adults now.
I sold my Freelander on here on free ads. within about 10 days. Just depends what people are looking for. I didn't put a photo on but described it accurately.

dont have any pics of it, but have put an advert on here. have had it pitched in the garden but my garden is to small to do it properly. plus its too big for the blooming car, only got a little boot. Would be nice if you could buy a large tent that when packed was the size of a very very sall holdall and weighed about 10kgs or one you could put in your handbag ,lol
Just to point out if you list an item on Ebay you SHOULD NOT advertise it elsewhere as it is against their rules and you risk your account being suspended. It is also very annoying for us buyers as well to have a listing removed that has been bid on

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

I understand that it is a misuse of Ebay to advertise through them for a buyer and then sell to that buyer privately to avoid the Ebay fees. However, I can't find a rule which says you cannot advertise the item elsewhere at the same time. Can you point out where it says this as it's not easy finding information on Ebay and I was about to list an item which I already have advertised elsewhere.
To the OP: I would guess that Ebay is your best bet. I've only sold a couple of items on Ebay but put a buy-it-now price each time, and both items (one was a tent) sold within the hour. I've sold on Gumtree but only one of the two or three items advertised, and it took a few days. I've put some ads on here but as yet haven't sold anything.
The tricky thing about Ebay is once you have someone bidding on your item then you sell it on Gum Tree you are not going to be popular if you withdraw it from sale on Ebay. If you do advertise it elsewhere then it would be best to put in on Ebay as a Buy it now sale not auction but don't put on the listing its advertised elsewhere as Ebay will remove the listing. I've had this happen before.
