Grills are usually not that good on a camping gas stove , if it's toast your after get the folding mesh type toaster that fits on the ring

When we bought our cooker we looked at one with a grill and were told that they were not that good.    For toast go for the folding mesh toaster - pyramid are rubbish.

Invest in a decent frying pan so that you don't need any fat, or just the tiniest touch of something like Frylight.

Another vote for the (oblong) folding toaster (this type) - you'll find lots of threads on these!
