just been given a leisure battery for our camping trip this week.  I'm told it's fully charged but does anyone know how long they last for with typical usage.

I normally have EHu so this is a first for me- charged up lights and dvd etc and not taking the fridge but will need to blow up beds and recharge lights etc.  Will we be ok?

It depends on
1) How many Amps the battery is rated at, ie 80 100 ect.
2) How many amps your appliances use per hour.

There are many threads on here about it and how to convert watts (appliance wattage) to amps.

It also depends on discharge rates, and even a domestic battery shouldn't go below 50% for optimum life. A 110 Ah battery can theoretically deliver 10 amps for 11 hrs, but in reality you might get 8 or 9 before the voltage drops too low.

For Battery appliances 1Amp = 12 Watts. So a 6 watt charger will take 1/2 amp.

so long as you don't run a fridge or anything needing middle/high power it will last a quite a number of days   Lights will have only a small draw
