I have just looked at the Thule web site, Thule are about the best bars you can get and there is a fit guide on their website www.thule.co.uk

I looked up Ford Galaxy 2012 and it came up with: 769 Bars (square bars), 753 feet and 4016 fixpoint fitting kit. If you by this lot from Halfords, you will spend £100+, I recommend you look on ebay. It may take some time but when somebody lists a set of bars & feet for a particular car, look at the thule fitting guide, see what they consist of and you may get lucky. Recently, I bought a pair of Thule Earo bars, the feet and a fitting kit for a saab / early Vectra for £10, a serious money saving, all I need do is change the fitting kit and they will fit my wife's Yaris.

We have a Galaxy (in fact our 2nd one) and we have always used Thule for our roof box.  Over the years we feel it has saved us money as we have only had to maybe buy just the bars or just the feet.  We have used our roofbox on so many different cars over the years.
