My dog Jess loves camping I think that she thinks she is human. Just like us when we get the camping stuff out she gets excited.

one of our dogs are dog aggresive after being attacked by another dog what we do is teather him up and sarround an area with wind breaks that way only hears other dogs not see them which he is use too. When its walkie time whe have him in a soother muzzle not a wire or plastic type muzzle but a bit that just goes round his mouth that way he can be controlled when around another dog. We have done this for about 4 years as our other dog is so mellowed out and they both love camping

We are lucky because Comet thinks that the world is his friend and loves other dogs, cats, was kissing a goat through the fence at one point last year.
He loves to go camping.
As he would be on a lead all the time when on site, have you thought about taking him, and using windbreaks etc so that he can not see other dogs if you are sitting outside etc.?
You could try a local trip with his usual minders on standby if it isn't working out.

My boy is DA too but we still take him camping we just do what a lot of folks do and surround ourselves with our windbreaks and make him his own space as most sites have a must be tethered at all times rule we have had no problems with other dogs wondering in his way!!!

My (late) Springer, Paddy, though soppy as you like with all humans especially children, was dog aggressive but at his happiest when camping.  He seemed to feel much safer knowing all the other dogs were on leads or tethers like him and unable to come near him.  It meant he could relax and not worry that he needed to be alert and ready to attack them.  It gave him the chance to just watch them at a safe distance and reduced his fear and in turn his aggressive response.
