D'ya know, we have a roof box and it never even occured to me about height limits!

Best (worst?) I ever saw was a guy in an estate car with two mountain bikes standing up on the roof rack. Well, suffice to say they didnt fit under the barrier to the car park in Bedgellert. I dont think his wife was impressed, she just walked off as he picked the bikes and rack up off the road outside. Did the cars roof no good at all.

A friend of mine once shaved the top off a hired box-van by driving it under a bridge. We're very conscious of width and length when driving an unfamiliar vehicle, but somehow the height isn't quite on our radar.
