I've finally decided to get off my butt and start doing the odd short long weekend camping trip.
I have most of the basic gear, but want to upgrade to a bigger tent.
Probably no more than a 2-3 man tent, it'll only be me camping, so therefore needs to be put up by one person. Also needs a standing room porch area where I can safely store my camping fridge and cook etc.
Really don't want to spend no more than £100. I've had a quick look on google etc, and was slightly bewildered by the choice.
Ive been using a litchfield creek for a few years, when i go on my own camping, easy to put up, tall living area with plenty of room to stand up. Think you can get them for about £65-£75 now
What really frightened me was how quickly you can be overcome by the fumes on a seemingly cold barbeque. It was a well presented item and a shame we can't use the item as a sticky to warn the new campers who join this site.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
