A dilute solution of Milton can also be used as this kills the mould spores this is recommended on the Outwell site and I can confirm it works and is not detrimental to the material provided it is washed off well. Same thing happened to us 3 years ago cleaned with milton and still waterproof 3 years later. The only proble you may find is if its got under the seam sealing tape as it can attack the glue.

I posted the other day that my daughter unbeknownst to me had brought back a tent after her DoE excursion and left it packed we for over a month in her room (guess you know how tidy her room is now!) and I opened it in dread to find not a single mark on the vango flysheet or inside :)
