Our bell tent pole bent in half in heavy wind during our last camping trip. The cost and time involved in returning it to Holland (yes..... One of them ones) we thought would be too much so decided to look for a wooden replacement. After some searching we found a company called R L Trim (not sure how to post links, just google it!), who took our order yesterday (cost £27 including delivery) and the pole arrived before breakfast this morning!

Hope this recommendation might help others who find they need a replacement

Well done!

Take off the rubber ends from the broken pole so you could use them for replacement as most of the strain is on these rubber "mushrooms"...

Thanks for that advice, will try, but the wooden pole is much thicker (& sturdier looking) so not sure it the will fit..... Off to find out now!
