We have just returned from our 1st family camping trip and thanks to the glorious weather have not been put off for life!

Decided on Thorpe Farm Park near Barnard Castle after getting recommendations on here and reading reviews. Perfect site for our family and really enjoyed it (have left review on camp site pages).

Our Zenobia 6 set up worked really well for us and we look forward to using it again.

So glad i found this site as felt prepared as i could be and picked up loads of useful tips for our adventure after reading through some of the posts.

Will attempt to add some photos now!!

Thanks Spuddy. It was nice to get the 1st time with the boys out of the way. wasn't sure how they would take to it?
Luckily weather was fab so they haven't been put off. Was dreading it being wet on their 1st trip incase they refused to go again!
Glad you had a good one too.

Helen the boys adored it. Think I might have trouble convincing them to go anywhere else. It's amazing how a few plastic tractors and jets flying over twice a day can keep them entertained. We actually got the chance to chill for a bit.
