Can anyone please help me have just returned from windy cornwall with 4 bent steel poles. hope to repair these with spares But can not work out how to disconnect the connecting springs. NB they are royal poles

Hi Tentdweller & welcome to the forum   Gosh, it must have been mighty windy to bend the poles of a Royal frame tent   Hope you get it sorted soon. Be careful when pulling the springs out, my hubby found out that the springs can 'bite' when he used pliers to pull some broken springs out of our poles.
