Hi all, we had to pack our tent up during the horrible Jubilee storms in Cornwall, and although we thought we had dried it out properly, when we came to use it again the other week, we noticed small black spots of mould on the inner tent. I tried using wipes but not very successful, any ideas how we can get rid of the spots?

There is quite a lot of info on this subject if you use the Search The Forum and type Mould. The general opinion seems to be to use Miltons. You will need to dilute it at a ratio of about 10 to 1 but it's worth having a read as to how other people have sorted this problem.

If the mould is restricted to the inners or bedroom pods, a machine wash will sort the problem.

If the mould is just on the inners / bedroom pods, as poppy dog said, a machine wash will sort the issue - although there may still be discolouration (so expect that), the mould itself will be gone.

If you decide to machine wash I wouldnt spin it as water can get trapped in due to the waterproof groundsheet

Our bedroom pod was mouldy when we opened it up a couple of weeks ago (son had used it and put it away damp). I soaked it in the bath overnight with some dettol mildew and mould cleaner, then washed it at the launderette (our washer is too small). Just a few specks left, and smells lovely.
