I just can't understand why he didn't just send you the tent, especially since the price he's asking now is the price you paid!? Maybe he just couldn't be bothered to pack it?

Or, maybe it's worse than he's stated in the ad, so if you received it and had opened a paypal claim for 'not as described', he'd have to refund the purchase price AND the outward carriage cost?

That seems to be a good assumption Lidds0.

Why not buy it now using another eay account and get rabb to collect it (paying cash)... You'll get the tent you want at the price you want.

I actually think the guy might be telling he truth... Yodel are cr at p ad I have had parcels returned to me before.

Zanggirl, the seller did not tell the truth on any occasion. He had 5 weeks to send the tent. I have a raft of emails which show time after time the lies he told and his stalling antics. I want no further dealings with him. I agree that Yodel are not good. Why would he never give me any tracking numbers? I asked repeatedly but they never appeared. As people on this thread have stated, if you send by courier, the first thing you send is the tracking no to prove you have sent it!

Yes and someone has a starting bid on it. I really hope he gets even less for it this time.

I wouldn't be surprised if it went back on! Most likely bidder it up himself hoping someone would go a bit silly and keep bidding to win!

No, the high bidder and the seller have different feedback scores.

Still sometimes wonder if seller lurks/ posts on here and is just too embarrassed by the whole thing to post about it.
