I have purchased some cotton/poly mix heavy duty twill and made a genaker tarp out of it and now it needs waterproofing - Tried Nikwax Tent and Gear Solarproof but didnt do anything - I think I should have used NikWax Cotton Proof wash-in treatment - any advice from anyone out there please?

Have you tried you tube.There is a video on there of an american guy doing cami tarps.It tiltled under 'the cheep buggers guide blah blah forgot the rest.
