I am still looking for a decent battery powered light for our Monty 6! We have 3 different lights in the living area and the 3 of them together don't light the area enough!

Can anyone recommend one please? Or suggest where to place the ones we do have to give enough light? We hang one from the middle of the living area, one from the middle of the front of the sleeping pods (unclipping the 2 clips holding up the sleeping pods and using them) and one from the stringy bit near one of the windows where we use the cooker.

Thanks

We bought the Regatta One from Argos.
It's by far the best that we have had (and we've had quite a few). It's rechargeable and wind up.

Yep, the one james57 mentions is a good lantern, and bargain price to boot, also branded by Outwell, Ring and Decathlon to name but 3.

Better still is the Outwell 400LX AT 25% brighter, not cheap but I bought 2 recently at £31.50 each, priced matched by GoOutdoors, against Outdoore Superstore advertising them at £34.99 each. GO price was £49.99 each!.

You could look at flutube lanterns, although brighter than LED lanterns, the glow is stark and harsh and attracts every flying insect that's around.

crickey Francais £49.99 not sure i could pay that, as you said might be worth doing a bit of a search and then pricematching with go.

the one we have gives plenty of light in my opinion for a 3m x5m living area when hung from the central hanging point.17

I got the one James linked to for my bday earlier this week. I was very impressed, it is actually quite a small unit but gives out an amazing amount of light
