hi there - just had to share a topic which i posted earlier on the ridiculous price of a outwell vermont front groundsheet, was quoted £250.00 from outwell. anyway along comes gary from cross camping , he rang me to say he had one in his store what a very nice thought , to just ring and help someone he has never met before, and he said he will post the item for £40.00 brand new . that in my eyes is excellent customer service wish i lived closer 126 miles away from me , i would be shopping with them on a regular basis. i have posted a link to there website for any one interested in what they have .
so all i can say is WELL DONE CROSS CAMPING keep up the good service -shaun
That's all well and good, shaun, but have you seen how he swans around on yootoob with his camera, filming his mate pulling his wotsits off, struggling to get a family tent up on his own. And Gary has the audacity to flick one, (yes ONE!) pole clip on, and say's "Don't say I didn't help"!!
Takes him all his effort to raise a stroking finger to the fly sheet, cooing at "how nice it feels"..... while his mate lies round the back gasping for air!!
He's one 'ell of a lazy git, that one!!
Top bloke though, and top company too, by all accounts!!

That is so funny Mucker1884, really funny. Im afraid we lost Kez (the hard worker) he was never going to stick around, too much into his music and band ...Anyway, I am 44 and have pitched more tents in my life than most so its about time I just do a bit of directing. Saying that I might get in front of the camera next summer, wont be a pretty sight but it will be fun blowing up all those inflatable tents, that's the sort of tents I like to pitch now...lol
I can only echo Shauns comments about Gary as hes helping me out with some poles so good old great service but again a bit too far away from me which is a real shame.
Actually I think Gary should stay behind the camera and get Kelly Brook in to do the tent erections
