Hi Guys, we have been camping for last few years towing an erde 122 trailer, we now need a bigger trailer that can also have 5 bikes on top, any suggestions. Smaller trailer is perfect but need to sell that one now Cheers

Have a look at Duuo trailers we have the plus version, ebay is a good place to start looking for a new trailer.

Echo the ebay suggestion, I have had 5 trailers in the past 3 years due to our ever growing camping equipment and I have always bought from ebay, preloved or gumtree......

Can't you put 3 on the 122 and two on your tow ball? http://www.maxxraxx.co.uk/bike_racks_car_cycle_carriers_products/info_prem_max2_flange.html

Lider Trailer's are good value for money, very robust using "A" Frame and 13" Wheels. we went for the Alicante 110cm x 150cm and internal height of 72cm it's a good size for just the two of us.

Ours came with a RoofRack that will take upto 100kg so fine for 5 bikes, the Trailer alone is rated to 750kg.

Photo in gallery.

We have just got a great deal on ebay. Got a Daxara 158 ( same as Erde 153 ) with abs rooftop box. Very minor repairs needed to it and a fantastic second hand price. The roofbox allows the trailer to be locked and  secure all its contents. It can also take roofbars which we have to get. They should allow 5 bikes to be carried subject to weight. Trailer measures 4'9'' x 3'3'' internally and is based on an A frame. the rear tailgate can be dropped for long loads so too can the front tailgate when the abs box is off it.  The trailer has a tipping function, great for trips to garden centre/ recycling centre. Parts and spares for this type of trailer is readily available on line also Halfords, Indespension, towingandtrailers.

I would set up an email alert for the websites like gumtree or ebay and you will be notified when somebody lists a small trailer.

Good luck
