You'll have to check out my blog to read where I get to - my now-ex would sometimes moan that I always wanted to be off camping but in reality we only ever went at bank holidays and an odd weekend here and there. Good job he's not still with me, he would be moaning at all the camping I do now!

I had the pleasure of reading this thread late, after all the drama was over! It's been really amusing - and instructive - and I'm glad I didn't have to go through the tension of waiting for the outcome!
Sad that you missed your trip, TM, but very glad you found the keys eventually! Keys are a constant worry to me, as I do tend to plonk them down when I'm busy, and they can end up anywhere. I'm going to develop a strategy after reading all this!

No it wasn't - the first place I looked was under the driver's seat and in the glove box, which were obvious, but as they weren't there I was convinced they were in the house. Glad I found them anyway, at least now I don't have to go to the expense of someone getting the locks off the garage door and replacing them with new ones.

Pleased you found them so soon.... that could have dragged on for quite a while.
