You may have seen my posts about ehu and calor gas. Have researched and planned everything. Up late last night packing, sourced a new tent pole (albeit with a 40mile extra drive) all excited then at 3am DS1 is sick and has been all night and now is still in bed. I loaded car last night to avoid todays rain now I'm gonna have to unpack in a downpour oh best laid plans.

How long did you intend to go for? Children can get over bugs really quickly, so if I were you I would hold on for a day and see if he recovers enough to still go.
Oh thats a shame, my 6 year was ill a few weeks back, in pain, hot, just crying all the time, ( she was sick a few times) 24 hours and calpol, and tea time the next day, she was fine.
If it was me I would leav your stuff in the car and see what tomorrow brings,
I've left the car packed, DS2 was very upset that we couldn't go today (he wanted me to leave DS1 at granny's lol) worried that the other two might get it, or me especially as I take the kids on my own BUT jelboy is right I promised the kids we would camp and camp we will even if its in the garden.
Nevermind, and I hope it is still possible to have a shorter trip.
