We were getting organised for our frst camping trip of the year tommorow and decided we were a bit short on tent pegs. I knew it was a dangerous game going to Go Outdoors as we have been looking at new tents for a while but couldn't really afford it. Our current tent isn't really working for us as it doesn't have a SIG and the dog keeps escaping underneath it whenever it takes her fancy.
Anyway, we ended up buying an Outwell Nevda with the extension and carpet. It is going to feel like pure luxury compared to our current tent (Wild Country homestead 52).

Thanks everyone. Well I'm pleased we gave in and bought it, but after reading reviews it seems we may need to buy some new tent pegs as the plastic ones that come with it aren't up to much- so maybe we should of got the pegs after all We will take the pegs from the old tent for now. And yesterday I bought some new solar powered fairy lights which will look just lovely in the new tent.

The Outwell Nevadas are really nice tents had 3 of them, 2 x M and 1 x XL but the tent pegs are c**p for anything but soft ground so you may well need to buy some new tent pegs

This made me smile....not tent related but my grandad went to get a new bulb for a headlight and came home with a new car..... lol same thing just not a tent :-)
The story of your dog escaping makes me so happy The Boys are crate trained. Once they are in they are in. Taras is food obsessed and Drift is affection obsessed so if Taras smelt food he would be off to eat it but Drift would make you feel better as you give him a rub and a cuddle.
If fact the more I think about it I think Taras would take the tent with him for a Sausage or two.
