Hi everybody... just wanted to say big hello to you all. After many years away from camping I'm hoping to go away camping in the next few weeks. Just got a new (to me) 6 man tent, and just need a few more bits an bobs and should be all set. I've 2 small tents that I've never used but wanted a tent I could stand up in too. One thing I have noticed after looking around is how camping has changed over the years. After reading on here I must say one thing is still the same though, and that's how nice a friendly you fellow campers are :-)

Thanks. This site does seem to be very friendly and packed with good advice. Having moved to derby from yorkshire I'm still looking at sites around derbyshire. The sites I used to love to visit are no longer camp sites. Not wanting to go too far from home on my 1st trip but the east coast is tempting me.
