My current dog has naturally long claws that cannot be clipped, so I cover the groundsheet with picnic blankets and rugs.

We have had the dog away camping four times and there has been no damage to the groundsheet.

Sounds like i am worrying unnecessarily, will take lots of dog blankets and a stake! Thanks everyone
