Very lucky no-one was hurt, but how sad to lose those old trees. I haven't been to Nantcol but I know people who have, and they loved it there. I hope that the clearings created by the fallen trees will allow tree seedlings and wildflowers to flourish in the increased light, and before long new growth will regenerate the woodland.

Such a shame about the trees but at least nobody was hurt and there was no property damage either. Nantcol is one of the best sites I've ever visited.
