If the weather is horrible head for the nearest sports centre and have a swim or even luxuriate in the warmth of the Health Spa.
Take up an interest in finding that impossible item in an indoor shopping centre, where it happens to be warm and unlimited hot food is only a few paces away.
Discover new knowledge in a museum of the ancient and obscure.
If the weather is nice do proper camping activities, like walking, rowing (there is a famously annoying boat hire man on the river near Corf castle) and having BBQs.
