We were looking at aerobeds but just got one of these from Go Outdoors.

very much like an aerobed but quite a bit cheaper.

We used airbeds for a couple of years but even buying quality ones we seemed to be forever having to blow them up again. They were cold as well, so we ended up having to use insulation mats on top.

This year we've converted to SIMs and are now comfy and warm all night. I really couldn't do with the hassle of constructing a carpet/camp bed/SIM/mattress enhancer/fitted sheet/sleeping bag combination - tent goes up, SIM goes on the floor, sleeping bag goes on the SIM - done. Camping for us really isn't about recreating exactly what you have at home - we're warm and comfy and that's all we need (or want to be honest)

Not sure if they have been mentioned, but have a look at Intex.. they do a fab range of raised airbeds at a reasonable price. Aldi do occasionally sell them on Special Buys at a reasonable price.
