Buy cold stuff, then eat/drink it quickly.

Got lucky last year and managed to get a powered coolbox from Aldi. £30 and works a treat. Needs ehu but even in south france 30 degree heat chilled my beer perfectly! Also kept milk butter and meat cold too of course but that is just a bonus. Does make a bit of a noise but even turning it off at night everything was still cold in the morning. Milk etc that is, I like to drink when camping but not first thing in the morning!

Have been reading the forums for a while, finally joined and this is my first post

Coleman extreme.
Pre cool it with bottles of frozen water a day or two before you go.
Pack food etc with Ice Blocks and 2 ltr bottle of frozen water.
Make sure it's stored in the shade and cover with a wet towel.
Water started to melt on 5th day.

We used a table top standard fridge at £99 from Curry's.
Great!

We use a 3 way fridge on gas as we don't do ehu in this country. Tried the cool box thing but getting a powered fridge is completely different experience tbh.

With cool boxes it's hard to chill something like a warm bottle of wine or beer. Stick it in a 3 way and it's cold after 30 mins.
