I am currently looking for a bigger tent. I like the look of the vango Icarus 500 and also regatta 6 man one in argos.

The regatta is larger but has not got a sawn in ground sheet this one is 40 pound cheaper. But I do prefer the vango one.

Can anyone alse help i am a good 70 miles from go outdoors plus argos you can't view them

Any help would be great

I would certainly go for a sewn in ground sheet...keeps all the draughts and most of the bugs out. Much warmer and the inners can normally be left in place so the tent erects as one and saves having to keep fitting the inners every time.

I have an Icarus 600 - def go for the Vango - a fully sewn in groundsheet makes the world of difference. Not just for bugs but for drafts xx
