Feel sorry for people who are camping this weekend with this lovely weather. But as I write this watching Arsenal against Benfica the weather looks so sunny in London.

In between hailstorm, rain and wind, its giving us bright warm sunny episodes, enough to walk the dogs, eat lunch outside and enjoy being in a feld surrounded by like minded people. Whats not to like....

I had a down pour earlier hail and thunder it was like a bucket of water just being poured out!! but when it stopped wine flowed and the BBQ was lit, happy days!!!
We had a bit of rain overnight and then this morning. Had to ge off site by 11 so we packed up tent which was still v wet on outside and let kids run in park for a bit. Got home, unloaded car and heavens have really opened!!!! Its been bucketing down! Will pitch tent in garden to dry off tomorrow!
On the Lizard here, was so heavy had to almost shout to be heard inside our tent. Loads of surface run-off as the ground was reasonably dry. Our Citadel held up nicely and I don't think there were any casualties requiring a sleep in the car...
